An officer directing traffic at the intersection told Boudreau to move back while the procession was passing, and Boudreau started yelling at him. The officer said after the procession past, he walked over to Boudreau and told him to back out of the area, police said.

Boudreau allegedly refused to leave, and the officer grabbed his right arm. Boudreau pulled his arm away, and at that point he was arrested, police said.

Boudreau was charged with interfering with an officer and breach of peace. He was released after promising to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Aug. 10, police said.

A 27-year-old Norwalk man was arrested Friday after he allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend and jumped on the back of her car as she was driving away.

David Mott, of Saddle Road, was removing license plates from her car in a parking lot by Post Road and Ruane Street because he didn't want her driving it, police said.

Police said a witness told officers the woman rolled up the car's windows and refused to talk to Mott and that he then struck the car with a pair of pliers. When she started to drive away, Mott jumped on the trunk lid, police said.

Mott was charged with breach of peace and released after posting $100 bond. He was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Monday and was ordered to stay away from the woman, police said.

A 24-year-old Norwalk man was arrested Saturday morning after he allegedly pushed a shopping cart filled with $152 worth of goods out of Super Stop & Shop on Villa Avenue in Fairfield without paying for them.

Police said a clerk followed Sean M. Burbank, of Clinton Avenue, out of the supermarket and was able to get the attention of an officer passing by on patrol.

Burbank told officers he was distracted by talking on his cell phone and forgot to pay for the merchandise, police said.

Burbank was charged with sixth-degree larceny and also had an outstanding warrant for second-degree failure to appear in court, police said.

He was released after posting $2,500 bond on the failure to appear in court charge. He was released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Aug. 10 on the larceny charge, police said.

An 18-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a fifth-degree larceny charge Saturday night after he allegedly stole a bicycle worth $700 from outside a gas station on the Post Road in Fairfield.

Roeshad Melvin, of Crowther Avenue, was released after promising to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Aug. 8, police said.

Police said Melvin told officers he stole the bicycle because he needed a way to get home.

Police said the bike's owner discovered it missing when he left the gas station where he had been shopping and provided a description of the bike to police. An officer spotted the bike a short time later, police said.

Two Bridgeport men were arrested on motor vehicle charges Sunday afternoon after a police lieutenant questioned the men after they drove into the parking lot of Cumberland Farms on Kings Highway in Fairfield. The men exchanged positions as driver and passenger after they saw the police cruiser, police said.

Police said neither Dardo Reyes, 25, or Patrico Reyes, 30, of Oliver Street, could provide a driver's license or any other form of identification, nor registration or proof of insurance on the car.

Both were charged with misuse of plates, operating a vehicle without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to return plates to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Each was held in lieu of $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Aug. 10, police said.
