Road Rage Arrest by Grasmere Avenue and Post Road; Cell Phone Swiped at Nail Spa

Wednesday's press briefing at the Fairfield Police Department included the following cases:

A (removed) woman was charged with disorderly conduct early Tuesday evening after she allegedly got into a road-rage incident with another motorist on the Post Road by Kings Highway Cutoff, and then again by the Post Road and Grasmere Avenue.

(Removed), of Spruce Street, was released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Aug. 12, police said.

Police said (removed) used her car to block the victim in at the corner of Post Road and Kings Highway Cutoff, backing up traffic, and banged on the victim's car window and then followed the victim to the corner of Post Road and Grasmere Avenue, where she blocked her car in again. (Removed) told officers the victim had ruined her life and was spreading rumors about her boyfriend, police said.

A cell phone valued at $500 was reported stolen by a Fairfield woman who had visited Coco Nail Spa on the Post Road in Fairfield Tuesday morning.

Police said the victim reported that she was in Cocco about 11 a.m. and that she looked for her cell phone after she left to make a call in the nail spa's parking lot, but the cell phone was gone.
