Tires Slashed on Division Avenue; iPad stolen from Oxbow Road Home; Bike, Tools Stolen from Brookfield Avenue

The Fairfield Police Department's press briefing on Friday included the following cases:

Three tires on a 1998 BMW 328i parked on Division Avenue in Fairfield were slashed sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday. The value of the damage was $375 and the vandalism was reported to police at 11:52 a.m. Thursday, police said.

An iPad and case valued at a total of $800 were reported stolen from the kitchen table of a house on Oxbow Road in Fairfield's Southport neighborhood sometime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday. The incident was reported to police at 1:48 p.m. Thursday, police said. There was no sign of forced entry to the house and several contractors had access to the home around the time the iPad was stolen, police said.

A bicycle valued at $250 was reported stolen from a business on Brookfield Avenue in Fairfield sometime on Saturday or Sunday. Tools valued at $750 were also stolen on an unknown prior date, police said. The tools had been in an unlocked shed in back of the building, police said. The thefts were reported to police at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, police said.
