Arrests After Domestic Disputes; OUI; Car Keyed;

The Fairfield Police Department's press briefing today included the following cases:

A 30-year-old Fairfield man accused of arguing with and shoving his ex-girlfriend in front of her 7-year-old son Wednesday morning was charged with disorderly conduct and risk-of-injury to a minor.

Gabriel DelValle, of Nepas Road, was released after posting $500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court today, police said.

Police said DelValle and the victim broke up Tuesday after a two-year relationship and that the victim was in the process of moving out of his Nepas Road homs when an argument started and DelValle threw things around in the basement about 10:33 a.m.

A 32-year-old Bridgeport motorist accused of being slumped over the wheel of a running car parked outside the Andros Diner on Villa Avenue in Fairfield early Wednesday was charged with operating under the influence.

Michelique Umpierre, of Capitol Avenue, was held in lieu of $100 bond and was scheduled to appear July 13 in Bridgeport Superior Court, police said.

Police said an unidentified woman called police to report the incident and that Umpierre stumbled as she got out of the car and failed roadside sobriety tests about 12:54 a.m.

A 2009 Hyundai was keyed, causing about $1,800 damage, while it was parked on Mill Plain Road near Mill Plain Green in Fairfield sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 24, police said. The incident was reported to police about 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

A 77-year-old man accused of shoving his 50-year-old son in the older man's home in Fairfield Wednesday afternoon was charged with disorderly conduct.

Carmine Guarnieri, of Quincy Street, was released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court today, police said.

Police said an argument started over financial matters and that the son had stayed in the home overnight because he had an appointment in Fairfield on Wednesday.

A 40-year-old Fairfield man accused of vandalizing his house and interfering with his wife's attempt to call 911 late Wednesday was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Domenico Zoccali, of Pemburn Drive, was held in lieu of $250 bond and was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court today, police said.

Police said Zoccali punched holes in the walls, damaged furniture and grabbed the phone from his wife's hands when she tried to call 911 and smashed it against the floor about 11:57 p.m. Zoccali told officers he could damage his own furniture, police said.
