Police said Saez walked out of Kohl's with a carry-all bag and a bag filled with tee-shirts, valued at $680. When Saez was stopped outside by Kohl's security, he told security to get away because he had a needle, police said. He then ran toward Greenfield Street and into a wooded area and pulled out a hypodermic needle, police said.
A State Police trooper responded with a K-9 and found Saez hiding in the woods, police said.
