A Fairfield man is facing several charges after he allegedly smashed a vehicle with a baseball bat.
Stephan Boccarossa, 43, of Fairfield, was charged with threatening, second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of breach of peace on Sept. 11 at approximately 9:10 p.m.
According to police, the charges stem from an incident at Boccarossa’s residence on Mill Plain Road that occurred the previous night, Sept. 10, when a man came to pick up a member of Boccarossa’s family.
When the family member returned with the male complainant, Boccarossa reportedly struck his vehicle with a baseball bat and broke a window. The male complainant then reported the incident to police and requested Boccarossa’s arrest.
Boccarossa was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 13.
