Police Investigate Jeep Rollover on Unquowa Road

The road is closed in front of Fairfield Ludlowe High School and is expected to remain closed for several hours.

Unquowa Road is closed between Barlow and Brookbend roads as police investigate a Jeep rollover in front of Fairfield Ludlowe High School.  The road could be closed for several hours.

According to a report in the Fairfield Citizen, the driver -- and lone occupant -- of the Jeep is a 69-year-old male who was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center. The Jeep reportedly struck a utility pole in front of the school, causing the vehicle to flip over. No other vehicles were involved.

The driver may have suffered a heart attack just before the accident, which occurred shortly after noon Tuesday, the Citizen reported.
