Police Investigate More Thefts from Cars in Stratfield

A Dell laptop, Ray Ban sunglasses, and banks cards were stolen, police said.

A Homeland Street resident reported to police Thursday his wallet was stolen from his vehicle overnight.

It was not indicated in the report whether or not the car had been locked.

A Prospect Avenue resident reported to police Thursday that his car was entered sometime overnight.

Someone entered the Jeep Grand Cherokee and opened the glove compartment, according to the report. The compartment appeared rummaged through but nothing was reported missing.

It was not indicated in the report whether or not the Jeep had been locked.

Another Prospect Avenue resident reported to police Thursday that two unlocked vehicles in his driveway were entered, police said.

A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses ($200) was stolen from one car. The other car appeared to be entered but nothing was reported stolen.

A Windermere Road resident reported to police Thursday that his vehicle was entered overnight but nothing appeared to be missing. The interior, however, looked rummaged through.

There was no indication in the report whether the car was locked or not.

Another Windermere Road resident reported to police early Thursday that his Dell laptop was swiped from his car. There was no indication in the report whether the car was locked or not.

These reports are under investigation.

A Berkley Road resident reported to police Wednesday that his bank cards and license were stolen from his car.

The vehicle was unlocked, according to the police report. One of the complainant's cards was used at KFC and Dunkin Donuts in Bridgeport and a gas station in New Haven.

The cards were canceled. This is under investigation.
