Police Investigating Alleged Assault at SHU
Sacred Heart University student claims he was punched in the face several times by his roommates following a party.
A 19-year-old Sacred Heart University student claims he was assaulted by his two roommates following a dorm party this past weekend.
According to police, the student came to police headquarters and reported the he and his two roommates hosted a party that was broken up at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 26. When the student returned to his room a few hours later to talk to his roommates, at approximately 2:25 a.m. on Oct. 27, he claimed he was punched in the face several times.
The student checked in to St. Vincent’s Hospital and was released prior to visiting police headquarters.

Officers have taken several statements and continue to investigate this incident, according to police.
