Police Probe More Thefts from Cars, One Attempted Break-In
The incidents occurred on Nonopoge and Schiller roads in Fairfield.

A Nonopoge Road resident reported to police Friday that multiple items were stolen overnight from his unlocked car, police said.
A set of golf clubs ($900), a golf wheelie ($200), a checkbook, and prescription sunglasses ($180) were reported missing, according to the report.

A Schiller Road resident reported to police Friday that someone attempted to pry open his locked car door. The attempt caused $500 in damage, but nothing was reported missing from the car.

Another Nonopoge Road resident reported to police Friday that items were missing from his unlocked vehicle, police said.
The alleged theft occurred overnight, according to the report. A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses ($150), prescription glasses ($350), a TomTom GPS ($130), and an iPod ($250) were stolen.
