Police Searching for Armed Men in Fairfield Bank Robbery

TD Bank on Post Road robbed by two armed men Friday morning.

Police are searching for two armed men that robbed a Fairfield bank Friday morning and made off with an undetermined amount of money.

According to police, two men entered the rear doors of TD Bank, 1643 Post Road, Fairfield, at approximately 8:43 a.m. and approached a teller. One man jumped over the counter, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money, the other stayed in the customer area.

The suspects are described as black males wearing all black clothing, gloves and ski masks. They fled the bank through the rear door on foot. It is unknown if a vehicle was used in the robbery, according to police.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken and no one was injured during the robbery.
