Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Fairfield Business

Man threatened to kill store employee, dodged police.

Police continue to search for a man who robbed a Fairfield business and evaded officers earlier this month.

According to police, two individuals robbed Bob’s Store, 889 Post Road in Fairfield, on Jan. 18 at approximately 6:10 p.m. A male and female duo rode bicycles to the store and proceeded to steal $180 in merchandise. When confronted by an employee in the parking lot, the male suspect began fighting with the employee and threatened to shoot him, before both subjects fled.

The female, Lourdes Rodriguez-Deets was arrested a short distance away, however, her male accomplice “Tony” escaped.

Police are attempting to identify the subject in the above picture, who lives or frequents the Kossuth Street area of Bridgeport.
