Police are seeking two suspects involved in thefts from Apricot Lane on the Post Road.
On Friday, Sept. 21, two Hispanic women entered the store at separate times, each with large bags in hand, according to the police report. Employees told police that one woman continuously distracted salespeople while the other stole 18 pairs of jeans, resulting in a loss of $3,114.
Employees recognized the women as suspects involved in a similar incident six months prior to the Sept. 21 theft, police said.
Photos of the suspects are attached. If any agencies, stores, or citizens recognize the women pictured, call the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at 203-254-4840.
