A Valley Road resident approximates nearly $900 has been filched from him.

A Valley Road resident reported to police on Saturday that cash was missing from inside his home after a home help aide had visited, police said.

According to the complainant, this has occurred three times. First he left an envelope with $40 on the kitchen counter that went missing after the aide left one afternoon. He told police that on June 22, a money clip with $500 that was in a drawer in his closet went missing, and on June 29, a money clip in the same drawer with $350 went missing.

The aide denied taking the money, according to the report. Police are investigating.
