Series of Thefts from Cars Reported in Riverside Drive Area

Stolen items ranged from GPS units to loose change.

Fairfield police received a number of reports of thefts from cars since Wednesday:

Three Riverside Drive residents reported that sometime overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, their cars were entered. One vehicle had been reported unlocked but none suffered damage to suggest that a suspect had to break into a locked vehicle, according to the report.

One resident's wallet was stolen from her car, one reported a missing GPS, and the third complainant said that approximately $2 in loose change was taken, police said.
