On August 6, detectives arrested 38-year-old Kerry McGuire of Oakwood Drive, Fairfield on the charges of:
- Sex assault 1st degree (2 counts),
- Risk of injury to a minor (2 counts) and
- Violation of a protective order
McGuire was arrested after a six-week investigation. The charges are related to a 14-year-old victim.
McGuire was held on a $150,000 court set bond. McGuire will be arraigned in Derby Superior Court today. The investigation is ongoing.
