String of Car Break-ins Continue at Fairfield Gym

For the second consecutive week multiple car break-ins have been reported at The Edge, 500 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield.

According to police, a cell phone was stolen from a gym locker room on Jan. 10 and multiple cars were broken into on Jan. 12. $80 cash and credit cards were reported stolen and one vehicle car door was damaged.

Security footage from the gym was reviewed and a white late model, possibly Honda, with dark tinted windows driven by a single subject was observed, but the thefts happen out of the view of the cameras, according to police.
