A Fairfield teen was charged Saturday with permitting minors to possess alcohol after he apparently hosted a party where teens were drinking, police said.

Police were called to the Essex Street home and found nine juveniles at the house. Most had consumed alcohol.  According to the report, a 14-year-old girl rolled out of a car parked in front of the house and fell to the ground. She tried to get up and fell again, and then began vomiting and lost consciousness, police said. She was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center for treatment.

The parents of the 15-year-old male who hosted the party were not home and were unaware of the party. According to the report, they requested that their son be transported to police headquarters, where they picked him up.

The teens did not tell police where they got the alcohol, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said. The rest of the juveniles were turned over to their parents.
