Police received a report of three black males quickly moving through the street from car to car, pulling on handles to see if any were unlocked, according to department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier. The men had exited a four-door gray sedan, witnesses said. Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m.

The men had left the scene but police determined they were traveling on Villa Avenue, according to the report, where officers initiated a motor vehicle stop. Police smelled a strong odor of marijuana, conducted a search, and found phone chargers and cords, flashlights, screwdrivers, and a scale, Lussier said.
