Two Charged for Hosting Large, Loud Parties

Police arrested two university students for hosting 'unreasonably loud' parties on Fairfield Beach Road.

Two local university students were arrested recently for allegedly hosting large and unreasonably loud parties of Fairfield Beach Road.

Patrick McCahill, 22, of New Jersey was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to his Fairfield Beach Road student residence late Sunday for a party generating “unreasonable noise,” police said. When responding officers arrived, guests began to disperse yelling “The cops are here!” There were more than 60 guests inside the house, according to the report.

Police were called to Fairfield Beach Road early on Wednesday for another “large and unreasonably loud” party, this time reportedly hosted by Nicolette Ficchi, 21, of Pennsylvania, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.

Responding officers reported seeing about 40 people standing around a keg when they arrived on scene, which was after 1 a.m., according to the report.

Ficchi was charged with disorderly conduct. Both she and McCahill are scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
