Two NY Men Accused of Theft of Tools from Home Depot

The suspects allegedly stole $357 worth of times of Friday and then returned to the store Saturday while police were on site.

Two Bronx, N.Y. men were charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit the crime after they allegedly stole $357 worth of items from Home Depot, police said.

Irvin Lark, 47, and George Luis Lopez, 41, were arrested on Saturday. According to the arrest report, police were documenting the theft -- which occurred Friday-- when the two suspects returned to the Kings Highway Cutoff store on Saturday.

Store employees identified the men as the suspects who allegedly stole two Sawzalls and a Makita drill box, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.

Lark and Lopez were each held on $500 bonds and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.
