A Bridgeport woman was charged Saturday with fifth-degree larceny after she allegedly stole $625 worth of jewelry from Kohl's Department Store, police said.
Guythelle Pierre, 25, reportedly placed the jewelry in her purse and attempted to leave without paying, according to the report.
Police detained her in the parking lot. Pierre was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 20.
