Teen, 16, Claims Man Abducted Her, Ordered Her to Cut Herself

There is more information about the alleged abduction that took place near Fairfield University Thursday evening, according to the Fairfield Citizen. 

Police said on Friday that a 16-year-old female went jogging near the university’s campus Thursday evening and claimed she was held for about an hour by a man in the woods near the university’s athletic field, the paper reports. 

The man allegedly wore a ski mask and told the teen to cut herself, the Fairfield Citizen reports. The man did not directly injure the girl. Police are investigating and trying to corroborate the teen’s account of what happened. 

Police did search the campus Thursday night but could not find the suspect.
