Youth arrested after fight with parents
A Fairfield youth, 16 or 17 years of age, was arrested Tuesday night after being involved in a fight with his parents.

According to police, around 8:30 p.m., the youth argued with his mother and father inside their 289 Fair Oak Drive home. The youth was both verbally and physically abusive to his parents. When the father attempted to stop the youth from leaving the house, the two briefly struggled.
The teen was charged with disorderly conduct and released to his father on a promise to appear in court July 27.

iPhone stolen at GE
An employee at General Electric’s corporate headquarters, 3135 Easton Turnpike, reported early Tuesday afternoon the theft of a Verizon iPhone by a vendor.
According to police, around 1:45 p.m., the employee set the phone down on a utility cart and walked away for a few minutes. She noticed two vendors, who were delivering chairs, in the vicinity at the time. When she returned for the phone, it was gone. The incident is under investigation.
