Deficit Reduction Workshop

The rising national deficit is a growing problem that needs a solution.  This solution will require a wide range of ideas from people across the political spectrum.

This is a complicated problem we can only fix by putting all options on the table, so I want to know, how would you cut the deficit?  Which government programs and services would you cut, reduce or strengthen?  What would you like accomplished so our country's deficit isn't passed on to future generations?

To discuss these important questions, I will host a workshop on reducing the national deficit with special guests from the Concord Coalition, a non-partisan organization committed to cutting the national deficit, who will lead an exercise where participants will decide what to cut and what to protect as they create their own version of the federal budget.

To ensure enough materials and space, please reserve your spot by calling my Bridgeport office at 866-453-0028 or emailing Himes.RSVP@mail.house.gov.

It's time to responsibly cut the deficit.  Join me, and together we can get the job done.
