Fairfield GOP to Celebrate Grand Opening of Headquarters

The Fairfield Republican Town Committee will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 20, marking the official opening of Republican Headquarters for the 2012 election.


The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Republican campaign headquarters, 1863 Post Rd., across from Hemlock Hardware. Food and drinks will be served. Parking is available behind the building or along the Post Road. 


Republican candidates seeking election this year together will cut the ribbon at 7:30 p.m. The candidates are: State Sen. John McKinney (28th Senatorial District); State Rep. Brenda Kupchick (132nd District); State Rep. Candidate Chris DeSanctis (133rd District); and State Rep. Tony Hwang (134th District.) U.S. Senate Candidate Linda McMahon and Steve Obsitnik, candidate for the 4th Congressional District, are also expected to participate.

“We are very excited about our new headquarters and the momentum of our candidates’ campaigns,” said RTC Chairman James Millington. “We look forward to opening our doors to the community.”
