Flu Clinics at Fairfield Senior Center

The Fairfield Health Dept. will be offering seasonal flu vaccine on Tuesday, October 4 from 10-7 and on Wednesday October 5 from 10-4. The flu vaccine is available for everyone from infants 6 months old and up. Pregnant women will need to bring a note from their doctor to receive the vaccine. Please wear short sleeves or sleeves that can be rolled up easily.

Pneumonia vaccine is also available for those 65 and older and for younger people with certain long-term health conditions. The pneumonia vaccine is normally given only once. For questions, please call 203-256-3150. 

Insurance plans accepted for  flu and/or pneumonia shots include Medicare Part B, Connecticare- commerical plans and Medicare Advantage plans, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield- commercial plans and Medicare Advantage Plans.Without these specific insurance plans, the cost for the flu shot is $25 and for the pneumonia vaccine is $45. Please bring your insurance card with you to the Flu Clinic.
