Gov. Malloy Tours Bigelow Tea Facility in Fairfield

During the tour of the 110,000-square-foot complex the governor learned how the family-owned and operated specialty tea company has evolved since its founding 67 years ago by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, according to a report in the Fairfield Citizen.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy reportedly took a tour of the R.C. Bigelow Co. (Bigelow Tea) corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility on lower on Monday.

During the tour of the 110,000-square-foot complex the governor learned how the family-owned and operated specialty tea company has evolved since its founding 67 years ago by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, according to a report in the Fairfield Citizen.

Altogether Bigelow Tea employs about 330 people, with 120 working at the Fairfield facility, according to the report.
