Letter: Chris DeSanctis is 'Responsible, Forthright' Leader
Letter-writer Michelle DeMartino says that Republican candidate for the 133rd District Chris DeSanctis doesn't consider what is popular or not popular to run on.
Dear Editor:
What do I like about Chris DeSanctis as a candidate for state representative? I don't think Chris has considered what is popular or not popular to run on. He's simply said forthrightly what he thinks needs to be done, and I respect him for that.
Chris lays out the facts about Connecticut's massive debt, unfunded liabilities, 9 percent jobless rate, and more deficits to come despite the $1.8 billion tax increase imposed on us last year by the majority leadership in Hartford.

And Chris doesn't stop there; he also presents very understandable, common sense solutions like reforming unfunded mandates to lower our property taxes. We need more responsible, forthright leaders like him in Hartford.
