POLL: Supreme Court Says It Will Hear Health Care Case

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments for and against President Obama's 2010 health care overhaul starting in March, the Huffington Post reported.

The U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday it would hear arguments starting in March regarding President Barack Obama’s overhaul of the health care system, the Huffington Post reported.

Since it has agreed to hear the arguments for and against the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in the spring, a decision regarding its constitutionality could arrive by late June 2012 -- just a few months before the 2012 presidential election, according to the Huffington Post.

The 2010 act, an attempt to procure health insurance for 30 million Americans, mandates that individuals will have to purchase health insurance starting in 2014 or else face a penalty or fine, the Post reported.
