Republican 1st Selectman Candidate Schedules More Meet-and-Greets

One on July 15; Two on July 16

Editor's note: The following news release was received from the campaign of David M. Becker, a District 1 member of the Representative Town Meeting and Republican candidate for first selectman.

Republican First Selectman candidate David Becker has announced a second series of one-on-one meetings. These conversations will offer constituents the opportunity to meet Becker, ask questions, and discuss his platform and ideas for Fairfield. All are welcome to attend.

Meet & Greet dates and locations are as follows:

* Friday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Fairfield Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace.

* Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Timothy Dwight Park (next to Greenfield Hill Green) at the corner of Old Academy Road and Hillside Road.

* Saturday, July 16 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Southport Village at the corner of Main Street and Pequot Avenue.

"The first round of meet and greets was incredibly impactful," Becker said. "It's obvious that Fairfielders have a lot on their minds.  Everyone has been eager to discuss the issues we face, from recent train station findings to our town's overall fiscal and managerial challenges."
