Special Fairfield Voter Registration Sessions Announced

The Registrar of Voters Office will hold special sessions beginning Tuesday, July 31, so residents can register prior to the Aug. 14 Primaries.

has announced special voter registration sessions ahead of the State Primaries on Aug. 14.

The specials sessions are as follows:

  • Tuesday, July 31: The office will be open from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. to accept voter registration applications and to restore voters who have been removed from the rolls.
  • Saturday, August 11: Voter registration will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Old Town Hall.
  • Monday, August 13: New and party change applications will be accepted in person from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. the day before the Primaries. Applications received after this time will not be eligible to vote on Aug. 14.

The Registrar of Voters Office is located at 611 Old Post Road, and apart from these special hours, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Mail-in applications must be postmarked by Aug. 9 to be accepted for the Primaries.
