The Connecticut Department of Housing will open an Intake Center for the purpose of accepting applications for Storm Sandy relief in Fairfield next week.
Applications including Community Development Block Grant, Disaster Recovery, Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation and the Rebuilding Program will be accepted.
The Fairfield Intake Center, at 100 Mona Terrace, will be available to assist residents in filling out and submitting their applications beginning Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays. The Intake Center will be open for a maximum of four months, according to First Selectman Mike Tetreau.
“The Town of Fairfield is here to assist
our residents who are still dealing with the aftermath of Storm Sandy,” said Tetreau. “I encourage applicants
to make an appointment as soon as possible since this Program is based on a
first-come, first-served basis.”
