Sound Tigers Game to Raise Awareness and Fund for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut

Purchase tickets to the Sound Tigers game on Feb 10th to benefit BBBS.

Bridgeport, Connecticut –On Sunday, February 10th at 2pm the Sound Tigers will take on the Worcester Sharks at Webster Bank Arena.  The Big Brothers Big Sisters SWCT Foundation will be selling tickets to this great game, where a portion of sales will help fund one-to-one mentoring throughout Southwestern Connecticut.  Established in 2009, The Big Brothers Big Sisters SWCT Foundation assists Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut, providing funding for its mentoring programs by collecting gently used clothing, shoes and household items, enabling the agency to continue serving their 480 matches across the region and create new friendships.

On game day the Sound Tigers have graciously invited 50 Bigs, Littles, family and friends to attend the game and cheer on the team.  There will also be an opportunity for the community to bring gently used clothing, shoes and household items to donate at the front of the arena. Stop by the information booth in the lobby for more information about donating clothing or becoming a mentor.
