Fairfield CT Market Trends ~ 1995 - 2012

Fairfield Ct real estate Market Trends 1995-2012...fascinating statistics.

Fairfield, Connecticut Market Trends

Here is a comprehensive report showing the real estate market trends from 1995 through 2012. It is important to note that real estate prices in the prior three years (2010-2012) are similar to housing prices in 2004.  For those of you holding on to the idea that real estate prices will surely be going up in the near future, maybe, or maybe not.  According to this graph and the Connecticut Multiple Listing Service prices have been holding steady for three years.

If you have been on the fence and unsure if now would be a good time to list your home for sale, I would say yes, absolutely. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?  The winter is an especially good time to ready your home for sale.  Less competition and the buyers are much more serious.  Call me if you would like a free market analysis done on your home.
