Every summer our office at Al Filippone Associates takes on a couple of interns. I was lucky enough to get Rachel, a senior at Roger Ludlowe High School who will be attending UConn in the Fall as a business major, to help me out for several hours over a two week period. I thought it might be fun for Rachel to blog about what she and her friends love about Fairfield, from a 17 year old's point of view.
Her first assignment was "What are your top 5 places to eat in Fairfield?" The following is Rachel's post:
The Pantry
1580 Post Road Fairfield, CT 06824
The Pantry has the best salads in town. They are known at my school for being the best and they are also very affordable. I can get a salad there for lunch for less than $5. They also serve sandwiches there which are equally as delicious. The Pantry is a mini market as well so you can buy frozen dinners and such as well. My mom sometimes gets these meals and they are very, very good. They also have a bakery inside. My friends love their baked goods, the cookies especially. The Pantry is awesome because the food is great and fresh and it’s not too expensive for us teens who don’t have much money to spend.
