The New and Improved Penfield Pavilion ~ Rachel’s Final Post

Our Inter Rachel's final post ~ Penfield Pavilion

Rachel, our intern here at Al Filippone Associates writes her final post before moving on to other things this summer.  Her assignment was to go check out the new Penfield Pavilion.  Here is her post and photos.

In the past two years, Penfield Beach has done amazing renovations on the pavilion and their parking lots. The Pavilion is completely modernized inside and the bathrooms have been completely redone. Staff said that the pavilion was getting much too old and outdated and that the renovation was definitely needed. The beach looks so much more beautiful with the new structure. The parking lot has also been renovated at Penfield. It is now paved and is much more orderly. Renovations are still going on with the other half of the parking lot and will be done shortly. Penfield beach has a lot to offer. There are plenty of picnic tables on the the deck of the pavilion and on the beach itself. There are grills to have a cookout if you supply your own coal and matches. There is also a food stand that serves a variety of food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, wraps, salads, burritos, seafood, breakfast foods, and more. There are swings to go on and the beach itself is very clean. The town definitely benefits from Penfield beach and the renovations make this spot even more desirable.
