Yes, in the real estate world, now is the beginning of "The Spring Market" and we anticipate this one will be a doozie due to continued low interest rates and an abundant amount of homes for sale.
If you were waiting until the new year to put your home on the market, and although it may feel like winter has only just begun, January is actually the month you should be preparing your home for sale as well as getting it listed. February through May is when all the offers come rolling in, (FYI, statistics show that the greatest number of buyers are looking to purchase homes during the months of February through May) followed by closings from June through August (just in time for school to start). So as you can see, it is NOT too early to get moving.
