Why I Love Fairfield ~ Cinch Gourmet Meal Market!

There is a new gourmet market in town across from the called . Local Fairfield women with a love of cooking work with head chef and owner Shawn Russell to make delicious, fresh and  healthy take out meals, perfect for the time-starved families of Fairfield. All you need to do is heat them up and enjoy!  

My husband and I stopped in to meet Shawn this past weekend, and at Shawn's suggestion we tried the cheese raviolis, marinara sauce and a loaf of their yummy bread brought in daily from Arthur Avenue. They really are the most delicious cheese raviolis I have ever tried.  We still have the frozen eggplant parmesan in the freezer as well as a rustic mushroom ravioli, which Shawn said to just dress the raviolis with a little sage and oil...yummzo!

Cinch carries all kinds of pastas, including whole wheat pasta, various sauces, and ready made meals like mac and cheese, chicken parmesan, glazed salmon, coconut curry shrimp, and so many more that change regularly. They also have desserts, sides and appetizers available.

Remember when the old Hay Day in Westport used to host cooking classes? I used to go with my girlfriends and it was the best night! Well, Cinch has cooking classes and the atmosphere there is just perfect for them with a real New York loft vibe, open and airy with exposed brick. So cool. In addition to the classes and frozen meals, they also sell hand-forged knives made in Massachusetts by Lamson Sharp Co. and wooden bowls, utensils, and chopping blocks made by Bret Cavanaugh......just beautiful.
