We have been working for two days already in preparation for next Thursday’s kick off of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival.  A favorite Fairfield event to kick-off the holiday season.

 Glitter Birds & Balls

Decorations for your holiday table and tree!  We found unique items for this year’s festival.  The 3 boutique chairs (Nancy, Stacey and myself) go to NYC 3 times prior to the festival to hunt for the perfect gift and decorating items. How do these items make the cut you ask?  2 out 3 of us have to love it…if not, we don’t buy it!  It’s a science that works!

Each year hundreds of dedicated volunteers magically transform the historic Burr Homestead in Fairfield, Connecticut into a celebration of the Christmas season.

   From the moment visitors step into the Burr Homestead, there will be plenty to see and do. Visitors may enjoy a cup of hot cider as they roam the mansion and view the rooms designed by local interior decorators and artists. Exquisite trees, wreaths and decorative items throughout the house will be for sale as well as custom made one-of-a-kind live wreaths. The Holiday Boutique is an annual favorite, offering festive gifts and ornaments. Children will be thrilled to take a photo with Santa.
