Bullying, Cyber Bullying, and School Policies: Pointers for Parents

Bullying isn’t limited to the playground and lunchroom anymore, now it can also take place online where it can have an even more devastating impact.  This program, led by experienced school administrator Jeff McHugh, will give parents a “behind the scenes” look at the social interaction going on among today’s students.  Learn more about what you and your children need to know about bullying.  This event will take place Thursday, September 27 at 7 pm in the Children’s Program Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Presenter Jeff McHugh has served as the Dean of Students at Fairfield Woods Middle School for over twenty years.

This talk is part of the Library’s Pathways to Parenting series.  Additional topics offered this fall include The Baby Sleep Whisperer:  Empowering the Sleepless Parent on October 25; and Making Math Fun for Kids:  Pre-K through Grade 3 on November 15.
