Fairfield Public Library Parenting Program -- Navigating the Social Minefield at School

Find out what really goes on when your kids are at school.  Go behind the scenes – the lunchroom, the playground, the hallways – in elementary and middle schools with Fairfield middle school guidance counselor Bill Bosch.  This program will take place Tuesday, January 31 at 7 pm at the Main Library.

Bill Bosch is guidance counselor at Tomlinson Middle School.  He is the author of a book on bullying, “Bully on the Bus” as well as numerous articles on a variety of topics relating to students and their families.  He is retiring in June after 38 years in education.

This talk is part of the Library’s Pathways to Parenting series offered September through March.  Additional topics include – Puberty:  What to Expect and When to Start Talking About It, Countdown to Kindergarten, Making Math Fun for Kids, Pre-K – 3rd Grade, Understanding Your Son, and more.  For a complete list of the Pathways to Parenting talks, visit the Library’s website www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org/children.htm.
