The Fairfield Public Library will be hosting a film screening on Tuesday, May 1 at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. There will be two showings of Planeat at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Planeat is the story of three men’s life-long search for a diet that is good for our health, good for our environment and good for the future of the planet. The scientists and doctors in the film provide a convincing case for the West to re-examine its love affair with meat and dairy. Planeat shows how the problems we face today can be solved without simply resorting to a diet of lentils and lettuce leaves.
Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
