Founder of Cancer Victor--Beyond Survival to speak at Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library Health Matters Series will host Dr. Robert Zembroski , founder of Cancer Victor—Beyond Survival, on Wednesday, December 14 in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, at 7 p.m.

The scientific research is clear that 95 percent of cancer’s origin is due to an unhealthy lifestyle and poor diet.  Lifestyle factors such as poor nutrition, obesity, too little physical activity, drinking, smoking and exposure to environmental toxins are the chief culprits in triggering cancer.  Dr. Z will discuss the major triggers for the development of cancer, environmental carcinogens, and why poor nutrition and lifestyle create cancer.  Finally he will share the five lifestyle changes you can make today to rebuild after cancer care and to prevent recurrence.

Dr. Z is the director of the Darien Center for Integrative Medicine in Darien, CT.  At the Center patients receive holistic health care, including functional medicine, pain relief, nutrition and stress management.  He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the New York Chiropractic College.  Dr. Z is a chiropractic neurologist certified by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
