Grandparenting Talk at the Fairfield Public Library

Being a grandparent can be one of the true joys of life.  Parenting expert Annie Abram will discuss how grandparenting has changed through the years.  She will talk about being comfortable in this stage of life, how a grandparent can improve family dynamics and how important you can be to your grandchild in this significant relationship.  The common tensions inherent in relationships with daughters-in-law/sons-in-law and adult children will also be examined.  This program will take place Sunday, December 11, 2-3 pm at the Main Library.

Annie Abram, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychoanalyst with a private practice in Norwalk, Connecticut.  She has worked for 25 years in research, education and clinical practice providing help to parents and families.  She hosts a weekly show on Blog Talk Radio about mindful parenting.
