Holiday Book-Giving Preview at the Fairfield Public Library

Of course librarians think books are the best gifts, and at the Fairfield Public Library they are offering a fun book preview to help with your holiday shopping.  At 2 pm on Sunday, December 4, librarians will give a short presentation on books in the genres of kids, tweens, teens, fiction, genre fiction (mysteries, sci-fi, etc.) non-fiction, biography/memoir and “for the kid in everyone.”

The recommendations won’t just be off the bestseller lists, but will include many other interesting selections.  And because librarians are all about giving out good information, there will also be booklist handouts.  This program will be held at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

For your convenience, the Fairfield University Bookstore will have some of the recommended books available for purchase and the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library will offer a gift wrapping station.  Add some light refreshments and this may be the most relaxed and pleasant holiday shopping you do this season.
