Intuitive Eating Lecture @ Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library Health Matters Series will host a workshop on Intuitive Eating on Tuesday, July 17. It will be held in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, at 10 a.m.

At this workshop, you will examine why diets do not work.  You will learn how to distinguish between physical hunger and psychological hunger and how to follow your own internal signals for hunger and satiety.

Kimberly Bandman, LCSW, and Dayna Bandman, LCSW, will be the presenters for this workshop.  Kimberly graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and has worked for the Yale Department of Mental Health and Counseling for more than ten years.   She maintains a private practice in Fairfield.  Dayna received her MA in Psychology from Columbia University and her MSW from Loyola University.  She has also completed advanced training from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in NY.  Her private practice is in Montclair, NJ.
