Leadership Networking: A Powerful Small Business Development Strategy at the Fairfield Public Library

Leadership networking goes well beyond event attendance and community service, it also provides a roadmap to sustainable access to senior decision-makers. Christopher Bruhl, president of The Business Council of Fairfield County, will discuss how this strategy builds relationships that differentiate a firm and projects a premium image while strengthening current business development efforts.  It is also a proven blueprint for improving account continuity in a world of constant executive change and relentless downsizing.   This program will take place on Thursday, January 19 at 7 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

A Fairfield resident, Christopher Bruhl is the president and chief executive officer of The Business Council of Fairfield County, a private, non-profit corporation founded in 1890.  The Business Council serves as a catalyst for private sector involvement in public policy and is the vehicle for its network of business leaders to address key issues facing the region.  Bruhl previously served as the chief executive officer of the Westchester Arts Council.  He has a BA from Brown University, an MA from Louisiana State University, and an MBA from New York University.

This talk is part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs.  The series is designed to generate a discussion with local businesses and concentrate on their specific needs.  Podcast recordings of past Small Business Strategies presentations are available online at www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org.
