Personal Income Tax Tips for 2011

The IRS changes the tax law every year, and taxpayer ignorance can cause expensive filing errors.  Learn from income tax expert Sue McAteer if you qualify for different deductions based on home improvement or major changes in your life.  Learn more about tools and other resources available at IRS.gov, and be prepared before you sit down to prepare your forms this year.  This program will take place on Tuesday, January 17 at 7 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Presenter Susan McAteer is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and runs a bookkeeping and tax practice in Fairfield specializing in small businesses and individuals.  She has a BS in accounting from Montclair State University and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.  Also a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, McAteer often shares her expertise at the Library.
