Reinvent Your Financial Future @ the Fairfield Public Library -- Medicare & Medicaid
Medicare is the government program that Americans over age 65 rely on for their healthcare. Even if you won’t be crossing that threshold for a while, it is important to know what Medicare does provide, and that it won’t necessarily cover all of your healthcare needs. Learn about Medicare and Medicaid programs from Chris Crain, Director of Programs, Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging. Crain returns to the Library to review Medicare Part A & B, Part D prescription drug coverage, Medicare Supplemental plans and Medicare Advantage plans. Find out the difference between Medicare and Medicaid and how one qualifies for either program. This event will take place Monday, September 24 at noon in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
From September through December the Library will offer 25 programs focused on critical topics that affect personal finance including budgeting, basic and advanced investing, estate planning, Social Security, long term care planning, and more.
